Let's see, where should I begin? It's been awhile since I've been here!
First of all, I'm done with school! I have already finished my internship as of today. I had a blast and learned a lot and made some new friends. A few of the ladies that I worked with even offered to write me letters of recommendation if I need them. Wonderful people and I hope I get the chance to work with them one of these days.
Logan has decided she wants to move out here with us. We are really excited and I am a little overwhelmed but it will get better. We are going to Oklahoma on the 8th as she has an appointment with her orthopaedic doctor for her scoliosis on the 9th. I really don't want to make the trip but it looks like this is going to be the best option for us right now. Plus we'll be able to get the rest of her things to bring back.
Taylor starts school on the 14th. Middle school already! I am not ready for this, but she is. Logan and Zack start on the 16th and both are very excited. Logan will be in 4th grade and Zack will be in 1st grade.
I had to go back to school last night and tonight so I could take my CPR certification. I missed it the first time around (my fault) so I had to take it this time around. It was nice to get out of the house for awhile even though I haven't really been home much since I got out of school. And it was really nice to catch up with my buddies! I passed with flying colors if you were wondering, so you can rest assured that if you need CPR and I'm around I won't totally screw it up. It helps though that I have had CPR training in the past even if they have changed it some since the last time I was certified.
Everything else seems to be going pretty good. We are getting tons of rain which I love but there are a lot of areas around us that are getting a lot of flooding. The temps have been awesome, for the most part staying in the 80's. The only bad thing is with the rain comes the humidity and the swamp cooler doesn't like the humidity so it gets a little stuffy in the house. Oh, and the weeds are coming up like crazy! Why can't my plants grow as good as the weeds?
Dad, before I forget.........graduation is either October 21, or 28. I'm pretty sure it's the 21st but I need to double check. It will be in the afternoon like at 4:00. This way I have it down before I forget to tell you again. I'll let you know for absolute sure as soon as I can ask someone.
